The shepherds hut is modelled along traditional lines dating as far back as the 16th Century. Originally it would have provided warm shelter for the shepherd and his sick and orphaned lambs.

My journey started over 6 years ago when by chance I came across a picture of a shepherds hut, it was love at first sight and it became my dream to own one.
My passion for interior design has allowed me to source local country antiques and beautiful linen fabrics.
The room has beautiful views across the South Downs offering time to relax, unwind and listen to bird song in abundance. Watch beautiful sunsets, sleep under star filled skies and take away a piece of magic from your stay at The Shepherds Return.
